Relight Audio
Listen to reformed audiobooks, sermons, confessions, and catechisms.
Listen to reformed audiobooks, sermons, confessions, and catechisms.
We're leveraging the power of AI voices* to take classic reformed books, sermons, confessions, and catechisms—and turn them into something you can listen to anywhere. You can even read along with each word being highlighted as it's spoken. See sample below.
We’re making an app that will support iOS and Android (possibly only iOS at launch, since we don’t currently have an Android testing device). You’ll be able to listen to 15 hours of content for free.
Having fun will be even less hard if you’ve got a library card. Through your local library, you’ll (hopefully) be able to access many, if not all, of our titles for free using the Hoopla or Libby app.
It costs money to host the audio files, so for unlimited access to all resources, we ask for $5 a month. Extra funds will help support the production of more resources like Relight and Relight Audio titles and features.
The interface isn’t finished yet, but this shows the basic idea. We know AI narration can’t match a professional, but it lets us make many public-domain resources available in audio all in one place—many of which don’t exist in audio format. Our goal is to eventually give this treatment to dozens, even hundreds, of reformed works. One day, we dream of offering professional recordings of the most popular resources—and supporting this project can help us get there.
If you're as eager to see this project get off the ground as we are, you can volunteer to help support its development ahead of time through the link below. We appreciate anything you can give, even if it's just a dollar.
